Thank you for coming to check this out. My name is Wade Shoemaker. Obviously. It'd be weird if you came to WadeShoemaker.com and my name wasn't Wade Shoemaker. Let's just be honest about it. I created, founded, and am currently growing my own brand, Recycled Rhetoric. Hence the title on the home page.

Born and raised in North Central Louisiana, I live a pretty active life. Most of my "hall pass" days are spent in the field or in the water during waterfowl season chasing birds that may or may not be there. It's rumored that ducks are as common as ghosts in Louisiana, so there's that. Mallards are my favorite. In flooded woods if it matters. Ive been married since 2011 and am undeserving of the wife I have. She's incredible and I am not. We have managed to at least begin raising two BOYS, and I say that with an emphasis because they are in fact all boy. Drake who was born in 2016 and Gage who showed up in 2019 keep us busy even when we feel like we should rest. We wouldn't have it another way.

I take pictures. That's as plain as I can put it. The most simple description as to what I do. I take pictures of people doing what they love in the most authentic way possible. The goal, for me at least, is to make certain that the story is told with images that will last a lifetime. Whether you need something personal to look back on with family and friends whenever you feel the need or you're a brand trying to capture your products in "action", the way they're meant to be, that's why I'm here.
